SSC Je exam conducted by staff selection commission for the various post in different departments of government of india like CPWD, CWC,MES, BRO,Naval department. SSC Jen exam is conduct every year and almost 1000 to 1500 students has been recruited by ssc.
Ssc jen exam is conducted for core branches of engineering i.e Civil,Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Civil Engineers are recruited for the post Je civil while the Mechanical and Electrical both are recruited for the post Je (E&M).
Now as we are taking about how to prepare for ssc je electrical
Lets first discuss subject of electrical engineering asked in ssc je exam
- Circuit theory
- Electrical measurement
- Electrical Machine
- Power system
- Electronic Device and circuit
- Basic electronics
So As we can see very few subjects are asked from electrical engineering and ssc je aspirant has to concentrate on above mentioned subjects
Subject wise analysis according to previous year ssc je exam of Electrical engineering
1 . Electrical machines – 30 to 35 questions
2. Power system-25 to 30 questions
3. Circuit theory- 15 to 20 questions
4. Electrical Measurement 13 to 14 questions
5. EDC & Basic Electronics 8 to 10 questions
As we can see weightage of Electrical Machine and Power system in ssc je electrical exam therefore ssc je aspirants has to learn concepts and basics of both the subjects very deeply and their knowledge should be very good in both subjects. He or she should complete these subjects at least 4 times before the examination.
Similary aspirant should read and memorize circuit theory and measurement atleast 3 times before exam. By doing this a ssc jen aspirant easily can do around 80 to 90 questions of technical part in ssc je electrical exam.
